How Lexplex works

This MVP focuses on two core flows: generating contracts and reviewing existing ones. The backend is already implemented in FastAPI and connected to OpenAI; this page shows the frontend wiring and UX concept.

End-to-end contract assistant

Authenticate
Users create an account and sign in with email + password. A JWT token is returned and used for all contract-related API calls.

Generate or review contracts
Users can generate a new contract from guided questions or upload/paste an existing contract for analysis. The backend calls OpenAI with structured prompts.

Save to history
Each generation or review is stored in a ContractRecord table, linked to the user. The Result page shows the latest output and can later be extended with export options.
